* When will my order ship?
Orders usually ship within 2 business days (Saturdays count!).
* What is your returns policy?
If you wish to return an item, please contact me right away (and definitely within 14 days of the original order) and I'll work with you to fix the situation.
Pearlswirl cannot accept returns on earrings for hygiene reasons, unless the item arrived faulty.
* How do I care for my brass jewelry?
A lot of the vintage brass components used in Pearlswirl jewelry show slight signs of age (this is part of the charm!). However, to keep them looking lovely, it's best to follw these steps:
Never sleep, swim, or bathe with the jewelry on.
Store jewelry in a dry container and keep away from direct sunlight. Avoid storing in high humidity areas like the bathroom.
To clean brass, use warm water and dish soap (or a special brass cleaning agent). Dry off completely. Brass polishing cloths also work well.
* I don't have a PayPal account; can I still buy online?
Yes! The shop is PayPal-enabled, but it's possible to check out with a debit or credit card without using PayPal. To do this, click "checkout with PayPal". Proceed through the checkout process, and at the bottom of the last page, you will see the option "Pay with a debit or credit card".
* Can you design and make a custom piece(s) for me?
I usually love working with people on custom designs! However, during busy periods it may not be possible. If you have ideas, get in touch!
* Will my order arrive with a printed invoice/receipt?
In an effort to save paper (and, if you're anything like me, to save you from more unwanted clutter), orders will be packed without physical receipts. If you would like one included, please note this in the message to seller. You will always get an email receipt.
* Why does your website end with .co.uk if you're based in the USA?
Because when I was living in the UK and setting up my website, I thought I'd be smart and pay for a 5-year domain name....
